Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Programme
The Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Programme is a flagship initiative by the Frugal Empowerment Foundation (FEF) a charitable effort dedicated to uplifting women and young people in Nigeria. Through strategic grants, training, and hands-on support, SBE tackles the biggest barriers aspiring entrepreneurs face: limited funding, business knowledge, and access to essential resources.
Since its launch, the SBE programme has delivered meaningful impact. In 2024, the SBE Women Project empowered 106 women with financial support, practical training, and mentorship enabling them to start or grow sustainable small businesses.
In 2025, the programme is expanding its reach to serve even more change-makers. With operations now in FCT, Edo, and Lagos States, SBE aims to empower 500 women, fostering financial independence, business resilience, and long-term economic opportunity.
FEF SBE is not just a programme it’s a movement to unlock potential, build thriving enterprises, and transform communities.
