As the grand finale of the *SBE FCT Women Project* draws near, the Frugal Empowerment Foundation (FEF) is making an urgent call for donations to support the empowerment of 100 women in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Scheduled for November 27 at the Cyprian Ekwensi Centre for Art and Culture in Area 10, Garki, Abuja, this event promises to be a transformative milestone in the journey toward financial independence and stability for women who are struggling with financial limitations.
With a fundraising target of over 15 million Naira, FEF aims to provide each of these 100 women with a grant of 150,000 Naira, enabling them to expand their businesses and improve their livelihoods. The funds will go towards empowering women who are currently engaged in small-scale trading, helping them overcome economic challenges, especially amidst the prevailing high inflation and cost of living. Through the *Seed Business Empowerment (SBE) Project,* these women are receiving not only financial assistance but also the skills and support needed to build sustainable businesses that can thrive in their communities.
FEF Founder, Mr. Peter Osezua, emphasized the importance of community support in making this event a success. “We are reaching out to kind-hearted individuals, corporate organizations, and all who believe in the power of women’s empowerment.
Together, we can raise the necessary funds to transform these women’s lives, giving them the resources to grow their businesses and contribute meaningfully to society,” he said.
As November 27 approaches, FEF remains optimistic that with the collective support of donors, sponsors, and well-wishers, the SBE FCT Women Project will achieve its mission of empowering these 100 women. Contributions can be made via the FEF website, and every donation counts towards building a brighter future for these women and their families. The foundation invites everyone to be a part of this impactful cause, underscoring the theme, *”Together, we can make this happen!”*
