The aim of Greenwich Festive Aid: A Celebration of Unity and Hope is to bring the Greenwich communities together in a spirit of compassion and mutual support. Organised by the Frugal Empowerment Foundation, this event is dedicated to providing essential support to families by distributing food packages, hampers, and gift cards, ensuring that all families in need can celebrate the festive season with dignity and joy.
This initiative addresses the challenges faced by low-income households, particularly during festive times like Christmas and New Year. By uniting community members and gathering donations, Greenwich Festive Aid strengthens local bonds, uplifts struggling families, and spreads hope.
Since its inception in 2019, this event has become a cherished tradition, embodying the values of empathy and care, and lighting up the season for many in need.

I hope this message finds you well. As the festive season approaches, the Frugal Empowerment Foundation is delighted to announce our major charity event, “Greenwich Festive Aid on “Caring Saturday’s Christmas Edition,” taking place on 23rd December 2023.
Our mission is to make a meaningful difference by providing food packages and Christmas hampers to low-income communities. We aim to reach 1,000 local households in Woolwich, Greenwich, London, at the Woolwich Centre, starting at 1 pm.
We warmly invite you to support our cause and assist the Greenwich community during this festive season. Your generous donation, of any kind, will help us make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
