Ladi Joseph is a small business owner who works hard every day to make ends meet. Through her business, she provides for her children and handles the daily needs of her household. It’s not easy, but Ladi is determined to keep moving forward.
She faces many challenges rising prices, slow sales, and the high cost of restocking. Still, she holds on, doing all she can with the little she has.
In 2024, Ladi was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the small financial support she received, she was able to improve her business by adding more stock. This helped her serve more customers and earn a bit more money.
I thank FEF for remembering people like me. The support helped, but things are still tough. I need more help to grow stronger, Ladi says.
Her story is one of strength and perseverance. There are many women like Ladi”willing to work, ready to grow if only they have the support. Together, we can help them build better lives, one small business at a time.
