Blessing is a small business owner who sells roasted corn by the roadside. Every day, she sets up her spot with hope and determination, using her small business to support her family and meet daily needs.
Selling roasted corn comes with many challenges. The price of corn and charcoal often goes up, and when the season changes, business slows down. But Blessing doesn’t give up. She keeps working hard, doing all she can to keep her business alive.
In 2024, Blessing was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the support she received, she was able to buy more corn, get the supplies she needed, and serve more customers. Her income improved, giving her a much-needed boost.
I really thank FEF for helping me. It made a big difference. But things are still hard, and I need more support to grow, Blessing says.
