Faith Alice Agidi

SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation

Abijoh, Lagos State

In the quiet but fast-developing neighborhood of Abijoh, Lagos, just off Bale Street near Abijoh Primary School, lives Faith a woman driven by determination and hope. Like many in her community, she dreams of building a better life through honest work. Her goal is to start a seasonal fruits business, selling fresh produce such as mangoes, oranges, pineapples, and watermelons to meet local demand and support herself.

In 2024, Faith was identified as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project, giving her the opportunity to receive startup capital to turn her business idea into reality. Though she has not yet launched, the vision is clear and the passion is real.

I know what I want to do. I just need the means to begin, Faith shares. There’s a market for fruits in my area, and I am ready to work hard. But without capital, I’m stuck.

Faith’s story is one of readiness and resilience. She represents countless women who are prepared to succeed but lack the financial means to take the first step. With the right support, Faith can move from dreaming to doing contributing to her community and creating a stable income for herself.

You can help make that happen. By supporting women like Faith, we create pathways out of poverty and into progress. Together, we can ignite small businesses and transform lives.
