In Asokoro Village, nestled within the bustling city of Abuja, Adebayo Roseline is a symbol of strength and determination. Her shop is located at No. 3 Transformer, Roseline runs a small egg-selling business that provides for her family and keeps her dreams alive. Each day, she navigates the challenges of inflation, unstable market prices, and the rising cost of replenishing her stock all while ensuring her children are fed and cared for.
In 2024, Roseline was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With a modest financial boost, she expanded her egg supply, increased her customer base, and saw an improvement in her daily income. The support brought a glimmer of hope”but the struggle continues.
I am really thankful to FEF for reaching out to people like me,Roseline shares. The support helped me grow a bit, but business is still hard. I need more help to keep going and build something stable. As prices continue to rise and family responsibilities grow heavier, the need for consistent support has never been more urgent
Roselines story is one of many women with the courage and drive to succeed, but without themeans to fully realize their potential. With your continued support, we can help transform small steps into lasting progress and empower more women like Roseline to thrive.
