SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation

Abasi-ofon is a small business owner who sells seasonal fruits to support her family. Whether it’s mangoes, oranges, or pineapples, she works hard each day to earn a living and care for her children.

Because her business depends on the season, sales can be unpredictable. Sometimes fruits are plenty, other times they are expensive or hard to find. But Abasi-ofon keeps going, doing her best to make ends meet despite the ups and downs.

In 2024, she was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the support she received, she was able to buy more fruits during peak season, serve more customers, and earn better profits.

I’m really grateful to FEF for the help. It made a big difference, but I still need more support to keep my business growing, says Abasi-ofon.

Her story is just one of many. There are countless women like Abasi-ofon ”strong, hardworking, and determined who need just a little help to move forward. With your support, we can help turn their efforts into lasting success.
