SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation
Blessing is a hardworking woman who sells roasted corn by the roadside to support her family. Every day, she sets up her small stand, hoping to earn enough to provide food, pay school fees, and cover other basic needs.
Selling roasted corn is not easy. The business depends on the season, and the prices of corn and charcoal often go up. Some days are good, and others are slow but Blessing keeps going, determined to give her children a better life.
In 2024, Blessing was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the support she received, she was able to buy more corn, get the supplies she needed, and serve more customers. Her income improved, and so did her hope for the future.
I thank FEF for remembering small traders like me. Their help made a real difference. But I still need more support to grow stronger, Blessing says.
