Tina is a small business owner
SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation
Tina is a small business owner who sells roasted corn by the roadside. It’s simple work, but it’s how she supports her family putting food on the table and paying for her children’s needs.
Her business depends on the season, and sometimes it’s hard to find good corn or afford the charcoal she needs. Prices keep rising, and customers come and go. Still, Tina works hard every day, doing her best to keep her business running.
In 2024, Tina was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the support she received, she was able to buy more corn and supplies, roast in larger quantities, and serve more customers. Her daily income improved, and she felt more hopeful.
I thank FEF for their help. It really lifted my business. But I still face many challenges and need more support to grow,Tina says.
Tina’s story is one of strength and determination. Many women like her are doing their best with what little they have. With your support, we can help turn their hard work into lasting progress.
