SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation
Tina is a small business owner who sells seasonal fruits to support her family. Her fruit stall may be small, but it plays a big role in her life it’s how she puts food on the table and sends her children to school.
Her business depends on the seasons, so things can be up and down. Sometimes fruits are in plenty, and other times they’re hard to find or too expensive. Still, Tina works hard every day, hoping for better days.
In 2024, Tina was chosen as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the support she received, she was able to buy more fruits during the harvest season and serve more customers. This helped her make a little more profit and grow her business.
I thank FEF for remembering people like me. The support helped, but things are still tough. I need more help to stand stronger, Tina says.
