SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation

Kehinde is a small business owner who sells snacks to support her family. From chin chin to puff-puff and other local treats, her snack table is how she earns a living and takes care of her children’s needs.

Running a snack business isn’t always easy. The prices of ingredients like flour, oil, and sugar keep rising, and it’s sometimes hard to make enough profit. Still, Kehinde shows up every day, working hard and hoping for better days.

In 2024, Kehinde was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the support she received, she was able to buy more ingredients, make larger batches of snacks, and sell to more customers. Her income improved, and she felt encouraged to keep pushing.

I’m really thankful to FEF for their help. It made a difference for me, but business is still hard. I still need more support to grow stronger, Kehinde says.

Her story is one of many. Women like Kehinde are hardworking and full of potential they just need a little support. Together, we can help turn small efforts into lasting success.
