Blessing is a small business owner who sells cooked food to support her family. From early morning, she’s up preparing meals, hoping to make enough each day to feed her children and cover basic needs. Her food stand is her only source of income, and she works hard to keep it going.
Running the business isn’t easy. The cost of ingredients keeps going up, and sometimes, there aren’t enough customers. Still, Blessing does her best with what she has.
In 2024, she was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the little financial support she received, Blessing was able to buy more ingredients and cook in larger quantities. This helped her serve more customers and make a bit more profit.
I really thank FEF for the support. It helped me a lot, but things are still difficult. I need more help to grow my business, Blessing says.
