Tina is a small business owner who sells seasonal fruits by the roadside. Her fruit stall is how she feeds her children and takes care of daily needs. It’s not always easy, but Tina works hard every day to keep going.
She faces many challenges fruit prices keep rising, and getting fresh stock is more expensive now. Sometimes, sales are slow, but Tina never gives up.
In 2024, Tina received support from the Frugal Empowerment Foundation through the Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the little financial help she got, she was able to buy more fruits during the peak season, which helped her attract more buyers and earn a bit more money.
I’m really thankful to FEF for supporting me. The money helped, but things are still tough. I need more help to grow my business,Tina says.
