Faith is a petty trader, she sells fruits

SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation

In a busy corner of her community, Faith works hard each day under the sun, selling fresh seasonal fruits mangoes, pineapples, oranges, and watermelons. Her small fruit stall isn’t just a business; it’s her way of putting food on the table and building a future.

In 2024, Faith was chosen as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project, receiving critical startup capital to support her fruit-selling business. With the funds, she was able to purchase more fruits during the peak season, draw in more customers, and increase her daily income.

I’m so grateful to FEF for helping me start, Faith shares.I was able to restock and sell more fruits, but the challenges are still there. Prices change fast, and sometimes I don’t have enough money to buy in bulk. I need more support to really grow.

Faith’s journey reflects the strength and resilience of countless women across Nigeria. She has the drive, the skills, and the understanding of her market but limited capital continues to slow her progress.

With your support, we can help Faith turn her small fruit stall into a stable and thriving business. Together, we can empower hardworking women to succeed and transform their communities from the ground up.
