Habibat Jafaru is a hardworking woman who sells table provisions in Apo Kabusa, Abuja. From her small spot in the neighborhood, she sells things like milk, sugar, noodles, and other everyday items. This is how she supports herself and her family. But with prices going up every day, restocking her goods has become difficult.
In 2024, Habibat received help from the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. The small financial support she got helped her buy more goods for her table. This brought in more customers and increased her daily sales.
I’m really thankful to FEF. The money helped me restock and sell more. But business is still tough, and I still need help to grow bigger, Habibat said.
The support gave her a push, but life is still challenging. Things are expensive, and running a small business takes a lot of effort every day.
Habibat’s story is just one of many. There are plenty of women like her strong, focused, and full of potentials ”but they need more support to truly grow. With your help, we can give them the boost they need to build a better future.
