SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation
Opposite Market, New Karu Nasarawa State
Timothy Ladi is a soft drink seller in New Karu, Nasarawa. Every day, he sets up his table opposite the market, hoping to sell enough to support himself and cover daily expenses. But with the rising cost of drinks and transportation, business has not been easy.
In 2024, Timothy received support from the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. He was given a small amount of money to help his business. With it, he was able to buy more crates of drinks, which brought in more customers and helped him increase his sales.
I really thank FEF for their support. The money helped me restock and sell more. But things are still tough, and I need more help to keep going, Timothy said.
The support made a difference, but challenges still remain. Prices keep rising, and Timothy is doing his best to stay in business and grow.
Timothy’s story shows there are many hardworking people like him”ready to grow, but needing a little more help. With your support, small businesses like his can become stronger and more stable for the future.
