SBE 2024 Beneficiary Frugal Empowerment Foundation

Linda is a small business owner who sells cooked food by the roadside. Every morning, she wakes up early to prepare meals like rice, beans, and soup for people in her community. Her food stall is how she feeds her children and manages daily expenses.

Running a roadside food business comes with many challenges. Prices of ingredients keep going up, and sometimes sales are low. But Linda doesn’t give up she keeps working, hoping to grow her business and provide a better life for her family.

In 2024, Linda was selected as a beneficiary of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation’s Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project. With the financial support she received, she was able to buy more food items, cook in larger quantities, and serve more customers. This helped increase her income and boosted her confidence.

I really thank FEF for supporting me. It helped my business, but I still face challenges. I need more help to stand strong and move forward, Linda says.

Linda’s story is one of resilience. Many women like her have the will to succeed”they just need the opportunity. With your support, we can help turn their hard work into lasting change.
