OUR SOCIAL IDEA PRINCIPLES

Love is one word easily expressed but hardly practiced. This is because we live in a society where selfishness has become the order of the day. We have become more concerned about what we can get from others even at the expense of their comfort and wellbeing. So long as we are at the gaining ends we care less about what happens to the other parties involved. Is this the world we really desire?

No society that has failed in raising the standard of living of her people can claim to love them. No leader who by action or inaction plunges the citizens he is leading into hardship and abject poverty can claim to be a caring leader. In fact, leadership love can be measured by followers’ comfort.

But what can the righteous do if the foundation is destroyed? The Holy Bible asked. Today the world is bedeviled with people who are power-thirsty in positions of leadership. Africa is their den and Nigeria is the host, where purposeful leadership has taken the back seat while selfishness and nepotism led the people. The result is evidence; hunger, death, dearth, sickness, impunity, nepotism, religious bigotism, and the rest.

Disappointedly, all hopes appear lost, when you look at the vulnerable people living among us. As the hope for success continues to fade away due to the lack of love and transparency among us, we at frugal Foundation are hopeful that one day, we could change all these unfortunate situations to bring about greater success.

We cannot all fold our hands and see the future empty for the coming generation. We cannot afford to do nothing to give the vulnerable the chance of fresh air that promises hope of liberation from poverty; we must rise and feel the space before it is too late.

Evidently there are human resources currently wasting away daily. And it will only take a positive change to give everyone a chance to exploit their potential for the benefit of humanity. This positive change we anticipate will come only when we start investing in human capital. It will not come until and indeed, democracy becomes the Government of the people that is a government that considers the people as his superior and her boss, until democracy, becomes the government by the people that is a government truly and certainly chosen (elected) by the people, with the people having the authority to change it purposefully, until democracy becomes that government for the people, a government that its focus is on ensuring the social principle of loving, caring and supporting his people is a priority above any personal ambition.

However, the change will not be effective without the idealistic reorientation of our communities toward building programs or initiatives that make for development. Without the people understanding the social principle and having the willingness to be their brothers’ keeper, to hold each other’s blood so sacred to be spilled for any reason, the change we earnestly desire will only be in our dreams.

It is pertinent to state that at frugal we believe in the social idealistic principle of love, care, and support for others. For us, loving is not complete until you care for the person you love. Supporting the vulnerable is the evidence that we love and care, that we can identify with their pain and are ready to make the pain easy and temporary for them to bear. This is what makes frugal thick. This is why we say, to achieve our desired change, we have to first identify who we are, then find our potentials, in addition to these, we have to push our dreams through the social idealistic principles that are “to love, care and support others.

A society that has not identified her uniqueness cannot resolve her differences. A society that cannot love, care for, and support each other cannot, will pay the price of perpetual unrest. At Frugal Foundation we choose to love, care, and support others and we are determined to build nations across the world.

Finding You Purpose

Living without knowing the reason we are alive can be very disastrous. Without knowing purpose life can be so frustrating to live as you find yourself trying to fit into a world you were originally created to come and have your relevance.

Sadly and arguably very few people pass through this life fulfilled. Fulfillment is not a function of wealth, riches, affluence, or even education. It is a function of purpose. So the primary thing anyone born into the world must, as a matter of priority give attention to early in life is to discover their purpose in life.

If you don’t know where you are going all road may lead you to a destination, and all vehicles can call your attention to join their travel. But when you know where you are headed, you will know the garage to head and the vehicle to board, and you are almost certain to reach your desired destination.

Purpose is our compass to a productive, profitable, and fulfilling life. To live a purposeful life begins with self-realization. You need to find yourself in the midst of the crowd. There a reason for your beauty, handsomeness, large or small body, voice, ability, and agility, etc. if you don’t know it, you will think you have it for a show-off and it will become your ruin instead of been your reward.

As part of the Frugal Initiative, talent discovery, and development as well as skill-acquisition, has helped quite a lot of young people to find their path towards purposeful living.

It is purpose discovery and development that can lead a local youth to become a legend. That is why we encourage everyone to engage themselves positively in line with whatever talent or skill they may have, and find time to acquire more.

If the world is filled with fifty percent of people who have found purpose and fulfilling it, they will be greater technology more than we have in our contemporary times.

Think of a prince who is heir apparent to his father’s throne who does not know it. Think of how he will comport himself before the people you should have later rule over. Imagine the avoidable mistakes he would make. You can see him doing unspeakable things as the king’s son, taking actions that will ruin his chances to the throne.

This is the case of a man/boy/woman/girl who does not know what purpose of his/her God-given beauty or brain or both. Certainly, they will abuse the gift and talent entrusted to them by God and will ruin the chances of a purposeful life by those whose success depends on their success.

TO find your purpose in life you must be

Willing to learn

Willing to make sacrifice

Ready to be used

Be ready to serve

Be ready to stay

Be ready to be committed

Be ready to hold back when and where necessary

Be prepared to make your own mistakes and correct them

Be conscious not to repeat the mistake of others- You should learn from their experiences

Understand the principle of time

Value leadership

Find your mentor, know and understand their principles

The suffering of every generation is tied to a purpose that was not found, harnessed and delivered for the benefit of that generation. You came with a solution.

There is nothing that leads to failure in leadership like lack of purposefulness in leaders, there is nothing that leads to societal failure than lack of purpose in the people, there is nothing that leads to abuse of friendship like lack of purpose, there is nothing that makes a family fail like lack of purpose, there is nothing that leads to frustration in life like lack of purpose.

Finding your purpose must take the primary position of you searching not money, finding your purpose must take the front seat in you academics not certificates and fulfilling your purpose should be your priority at work, not the pay package. If you can do this we are certain you face will always glow no matter the situation you are in or the condition of work where you are engaged.

Do nothing first before finding your purpose

Do nothing else more than developing yourself for your purpose

Do nothing else in life that is not tied to fulfilling your purpose.
